The Rotary Foundation
Committee Role: To develop and implement a plan to support the Foundation through program participation and financial contributions. Committee Goals: 1To achieve the club Foundation goals for the year. 2. To educate club members about the Foundation. To encourage club members to participate in Foundation programs and support the Foundation financially. To communicate the Foundation goals to the club membership.
Club Administration
Role: To conduct activities associated with the effective operation of the club. Committee Goals: To provide effective and efficient support ensuring well organized, informative, timely, and fun weekly meetings. To provide educational, informative and interesting weekly programs 3. To maintain a written history of the club To participate in the governance, leadership development and strategic planning of the club.
Public Image
Committee Role: To develop a plan to provide the public with information about Rotary and promote the club’s service projects and activities. Committee Goals: To create awareness of club activities among club members, media and the general public. To enhance projects and activities to make them more appealing to both inside and outside stakeholders. To help create a brand conducive to membership development and the core values of Rotary.
Community Service
Committee Role: To develop and implement educational, humanitarian and vocational service projects that help our community and beyond. To develop and implement a plan that recognizes positive change implemented by youth and young adults and to offer them leadership development opportunities. Committee Goals: To achieve club service project for the coming year. To plan service projects using club, district and Rotary International resources. To implement service projects and involve all club members. Evaluate all service projects and use the finding to strengthen future service projects.
Next Gen
To foster the New Generations Avenue of Service and support club goals for the year. To educate youth and young adults about Rotary. To encourage youth and young adults to participate in Rotary programs and support their community through Service Above Self. To communicate the clubs New Generation goals to the club membership.
Membership
Committee Role: To develop and implement an action plan for recruiting, retaining and educating club members. Committee Goals: To achieve club membership goals for the year. To educate and train club members about the importance of recruitment and retention of qualified and divers members. To conduct classification surveys to ensure the classifications are relevant to and reflect our community and current business trends. To conduct club assessments to ensure membership development efforts are effective.
Programs
Committee Role: To plan and secure the weekly speakers for the club’s general meetings. Add the info to the club website and ensure that the speaker is set up, ready to go, and introduced properly.
Communications
Committee Role: To capture content at club meetings (written notes and pictures) to create the weekly club bulletin.
Golf Committee
Committee Role:To execute the annual golf tournament – one of the club’s major fundraisers.
Spring Obsession Committee
Committee Role:To execute the Spring Obsession event – one of the club’s major fundraisers.
